Let me introduce “us.” We are sisters that own and operate Life in the Heights. It started small in March of 2023, with the idea of selling PDF’s and digital files. We quickly began brainstorming other products, like monthly planners, meal planners, password trackers and address books. Our “Stuff I Can’t Remember” passwords & more book was a hit! We didn’t stop there! Felt flower pet accessories were next. They are handmade and quickly became a top seller. We kept going, dabbling with greeting cards and print on demand items. We still hadn’t found the big item…the one that would change everything. Until we came up with the idea to sell simmer pot kits! We wanted to bag the idea of a product that was different from just an ordinary candle, that would make your home smell like the holidays, so we came up with 3 scents that captured just that! We launched our fan favorite Simmer Pot Kits around Black Friday of 2023 and they were a hit! This was the one! Throughout the past year, we’ve added scents for each season, each capturing the essence of spring, summer, fall and of course, winter and the holidays.
With the large amount of sales that we had in the holiday season of 2023, we had to recruit the whole family to pitch in. Our other sister, mom, dad, husbands, kids and even cousins came to our aid and helped us make the kits and get our orders out on time for our customers to enjoy and gift for Christmas. We couldn’t have done it without them and they continue to help us.
